Bravecto Plus is a highly effective spot-on indicated for the treatment of flea and tick infestations in cats. The product kills the existing fleas and ticks within 24-48 hours and prevents further infestation. It is also used in a treatment strategy of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (FAD). Bravecto Plus, additionally, treats intestinal infections caused due to roundworms (Toxocara cati) and hookworms (Ancylostoma tubaeforme). Furthermore, Bravecto Plus prevents heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis for almost 8 weeks.
Bravecto Plus for Cats contains two active ingredients – Fluralaner and Moxidectin that bind with the chloride channels which causes increased permeability of membranes of nematodes and arthropod cells. This in turn leads to hyperpolarization, paralysis and death of the worms. The topical treatment covers wide range of parasites and protects cats against harmful diseases.
